dc.description | A sufficient amount of phosphorus content in seed feed for swine and poultry is a concern for these producers. Phosphorus must be added to livestock diets. Otherwise, animals may have a reduced rate and efficiency of growth and easily fractured bones. This paper gives an overview of several experiments. Various feeds have various phosphorus contents. The focus of these experiments was to provide North Dakota swine and poultry producers with information on the phosphorus content of several common feeds. The last table of the article presents a list of feed sources and their phosphorus. | |
