dc.description | The article presents a study ho’s objective was to determine a more reliable counting efficiency between two methods and, if necessary, to provide a correction factor which would allow more reliable estimates of the absolute populations of 'red sunflower seed weevil' adults. Several factors influence the reliability of estimates of insect populations under field conditions. When a spray was used, sampling efficiency was more consistent over different red weevil populations when it was not used. | |
