dc.description | Maggie Wolfer is a first cousin to Ludwig Buck, Jr., who owned this photo, circa 1914. Margaret Wolfer (Mrs. John Gackle, born 1891) is a niece to Margaretha Wolfert (Mrs. Ludwig Buck, Sr., born 1854). John George Gackle (son of Kulm founder George Gackle and Lydia Grosz Gackle, was born 1888 at Williamsport, Emmons County, Dakota Territory) married in June 1910. Margaret Wolfer (born 1891) with their two children. John Gackle became president of the Gackle Brothers Corporation in 1914 at Kulm, North Dakota. John was active in First Congregational Church of Kulm, where he was church organist.
