dc.descriptionThis circa 1903 wedding portrait with hochzeit blassband (brass band with clarinets) is identified as Adolf Mittleider and Frau, wedding on photo reverse (also lists ownership by Adolf and Minnie Buck Graf with their 1911 travels to Neudorf). Tante Katherina Mittleider [unmarried] is seated in front of the bride. The groom is Adolf Mittleider, whose parents are Phillip Mittleider [five Phillips idenitified] and Catharina Kussmaul, married 12 January 1871 in Bergdorf. The groom Adolf is a nephew of Christina Mittleider (Mrs. Johann Graf, Sr.) of Streeter and Tante Katherina. Adolfâ s mother, Catherina Kussmaul Mittleider is seated to his left.
