dc.descriptionThe first objective of this article is to examine the purchasing and marketing behavior of North Dakota farm operators. The purpose of the analysis is to determine whether operators of larger farms and ranches display a significant pattern of bypassing local retail establishments and marketing outlets in order to patronize those located In larger and more distant places. Also included on the survey were several items pertaining to the operator's demographic and economic backgrounds.
