This article provides an overview of the North Dakota agricultural sector from 1910 t0 1991. It is viewed from three aspects. Farmland values, farmland rentals, farmland values per acre in nominal and inflation-adjusted (real) dollar terms, rents and values for cash-rented tracts in ND in nominal and in real terms and a comment on foreign ownership on North Dakota agricultural land. Two measures of the purchasing power of the dollar are used. The implicit adjusters applied in creating estimates of the gross national product or the total value of goods and services produced in the US and the consumer's typical market basket, known as the Consumer Price Index. Thirteen tables are included in this article to illuminate findings.
