dc.descriptionThe soil survey staff of the North Dakota Agricultural Experiment Station have made detailed soil surveys of organized irrigation districts since 1956 in North Dakota. The objectives of the Experiment Station are to complete and publish detailed soil surveys and to determine the suitability of the soils for irrigation. The method of these surveys and their description is provided in this article.
