dc.descriptionThis was the second article in North Dakota Farm Research on resident and non-resident tourist travel. Tourism is an important industry in North Dakota, and the whole state benefits. More information concerning how long nonresident tourist groups stay in North Dakota, how many miles do they travel while here and how much money do they spend for various items was needed. The results from 2,112 on-resident tourist groups who traveled to the state in the Fall of 167 is reviewed. These tourists didn't linger in the state. the average expenditure per group was $43.87. They traveled an average of 300-399 miles each.
