dc.descriptionThe article focuses on the increase of drought tolerance in crops by usage of biotechnology. Biotechnology techniques of culturing plant cells, selecting cells capable of carrying out osmotic adjustment and regenerating whole plants from the drought tolerant cells should be an effective method for supplying new drought tolerant genes to breeding programs.
