dc.descriptionThe effects of tillage on water movement into surface-mined materials of high sodium adsorption ratio were evaluated. The depth of water penetration was measured on plots which were nontilled, moldboard plowed and disked prior to topsoil placement. Tillage produced little effect on increased water flow into the spoil medium.en
