Abstract
Description
The authors wanted to discover what effect fertilizers had on the soil in North Dakota. Also, they wanted to find out what effect the removal of minerals in the soil by crops would do. The major nutrients applied on crops was nitrogen, phosphorous and potassium. The relationship between soil testing as related to nutrient attrition and the application of fertilizer are given. Systematic soil tests are the best method to determine what kid and amount of fertilizer, if any, is needed.
