This paper concerns an acute disease of swine, which may result in death, Necrotic Enteritis. The organism most commonly isolated from the disease tissue is Salmonella suipestifer. Large numbers of swine may die when infected with such. Preventative measures were recommended such as feeding swine a complete ration. Sulfa drugs were somewhat effective in the treatment of swine infected.
