The article presents the findings of six trial studies which were conducted to determine the effect of zinc fertilizer alone and in combination with phosphorus fertilizer on corn grain yield. The six trials were conducted in Richland County, North Dakota, three each in 1965 and 1966. Symptoms on the leaves indicative of zinc deficiency are not the same for all corn varieties.
