Abstract
Description
The discussion is North Dakota water quality. For many, ground water was the dominant source of drinking water, which could become contaminated by agricultural treatments such as fertilizers such as nitrogen, pesticides and herbicides. Different soil types and densities and water depths can affect how deeply and quickly these contaminants can be absorbed into water supplies. A study was conducted in Eddy County in North Dakota to determine if there was any contamination of their water supply and if so, to what degree.
