Abstract

Description

The author explains how mining affects moisture infiltration and collection. Previous paths water traveled is disrupted. Different soil textures and soil material absorb, pass and collection moisture differently. North Dakota is semi-arid lack of adequate moisture at planting time can reduce crop yields. Other various aspects of this are discussed.
