Abstract

Description

The topic is the distribution and amount of rainfall occurring during the growing season which not only have a significant effect on yields of small grains and forages but, also, has major impacts on sediment pond designs for the retention of rain runoff. Limiting damages via runoff is mentioned. North Dakota is semi-arid lacking in frequent rainfalls which produces a less humid environ making the prediction of runoff less accurate to predict
