dc.description | The article gives a idea of the future of entomology for the next decade (1987-97). Entomology as it was being studied and applied in the time of the writing of this article is outlined. The decade of 1987-97 would be more challenging as farmers attempted to understand, manage and live with select insect species considered deleterious to their food, fiber and general quality of life.
