Abstract

This statement assesses the environmental consequences of four alternative courses of action for future grazing management on approximately 68,000 surface acres of public land administered by the Bureau of Land Management (BLM) in North Dakota. The four alternatives range from elimination oflivestock grazing on all grazing allotments to increased management levels that strike a balance between livestock use and enhanced environmental protection.
