dc.descriptionThe purpose of the study outlined in this article was to describe contributions made by North Dakota older people and to describe the support they received. A description of the differences in the contribution and supports of rural elderly versus urban elderly is made. These tasks included household tasks, community tasks and social, emotional and personal care. This information included who the help was given to: family, friends or others. Also, demographics were taken into account.
