dc.descriptionA brief history of corn cross breeding and hybrids is given. The article focuses on ND265, a new inbred line released by North Dakota Agricultural Experiment Station and was developed from a synthetic variety which hasn't ben used as a germplasm source for previously released inbreds. A brief history, agronomic description, inbred performance and hybrid performance are presented.
