The article focuses on fungicides and potatoes. Potato fungicide experiments were conducted annually in the Red River Valley from 1945 and up. A significant amount of early blight was present three years with a trace of late blight one year. Years like 1950 when only a slight amount of early blight was present, it was possible to determine the influence of the sprays and dusts on yield. The yields obtained from the majority of the plots treated with fungicides were approximately the same with the difference between the highest yielding plot and the check being not statistically significant.
