Cow and Calf Performance as Affected by Grazing Management

Abstract

Different grazing treatments cause changes in the quantity of plant growth and the quality of herbage; this study compares cow and calf accumulated weight gain, rate of weight gain per acre, and rate of weight gain per day on various pasture-forage types of grazing management systems.
