E-portfolios: Wordpress and Scribd

Abstract

This presentation provides a brief overview of the value of portfolios (collections of student writings, in this case) in general, and electronic portfolios specifically. It then walks attendees through an approach to e-portfolios that combines Wordpress, Scribd, and SlideShare (with a nod to YouTube), demonstrating how an e-portfolio via WordPress can successfully present multiple document formats (Word, PDF, PPT, even Video) through a single, unified, interface.
