dc.description | Soil and water are the basic resources we depend on for production of food and fiber and of feed for livestock. Soils are complex systems with chemical, physical and biological properties that influence their productive use. Researchers in the Department of Soils use many techniques to unravel these complexities of nature and fit the answers into systems of recommendations for soil and water resource management. This article presents some of these approaches. | en |
