dc.description.abstract	The building typology for the thesis will be a campus for education in the performing arts. The site is located at the mouth of the Chicago River in Chicago, Illinois. The thesis will examine kinetic architecture as it corresponds to a performing arts community. It will challenge the principles of theater design and observe performance spaces and other functions as they change form, function, and overall appearance.	en_US
