dc.description | Grasslands have typically shown improvement and gains with the application of nitrogen. The creation and implementation of custom tailored proper management techniques will increase grass performance. Studies conducted at the North Dakota Agricultural Experiment Station pointed to the positive effects of proper fertilization treatments of grasslands. Better quality grasses provide improved forage for livestock and, thus, may improve animal performance. This article has many tables which display the varying results of fertilization on various types of grasses. | |
