This article concerned the late Samuel F. Crabbe, who relocated to Fargo, N.D. in 1891. He became the city engineer for 16 years. He bought an old farm previously owned by the Darlings. He went on to develop one of the most astounding Jersey herds in America. The article goes into more detail about his life and accomplishments.
