dc.descriptionThe author attempts to present the expansion of research and it’s future. The North Dakota Agricultural Experiment Station has these high priority goals: conservation of natural resources, the reduction of input cost in farm production, the improvement of production efficiency and crop protection, the enhancement of market value, the ensuring of farm products, reducing barriers to effective marketing and promotion of good nutrition. In this article, several short commentaries from various disciplines with regards to agricultural research are given: crop and weed sciences, horticulture and forestry, plant pathology, botany, etomology. microbiology, biochemistry, animal and range sciences and veterinary science
