President Joseph A. Chapman presented four important campus themes during his State of the University Address. Chapman, who became NDSU’s 13th president in June, outlined an institutional vision that includes a strong emphasis on service to students and an expansion of the school’s research component, including a research and technology park. He also said the university will make significant progress in salaries for faculty and staff.
