This paper examines the amount of waste or unutilized material a particular design will produce. This is being analyzed by the author through the investigation and use of multiple software systems. The ideal intent is the creation of such a program that will be able to inform the designer of the waste his or her particular design is going to be producing with a real time report. This product could then be implemented into BIM programs such as Revit by Autodesk or any other DXF file formatted software.en_US
