Abstract
URS Corporation (URS), on behalf of the United States Army Corps of Engineers - St. Paul District (USACE), conducted a biological assessment to identify and characterize fish and invertebrate communities and biotic integrity within the Red River of the North and six tributaries. These waterbodies were assessed because they could be affected by a potential flood damage reduction project at Fargo, North Dakota and Moorhead, Minnesota. The assessed waterbodies included Red River of the North, Wild Rice River, Sheyenne River, • Maple River, Rush River, Lower Rush River, and Wolverton Creek.
