dc.description | The article addresses the long term effects of a 50% sunflower oil blend in diesels using the then current engine designs. A study regarding such is reviewed here. The fuel properties, it's characteristics, the apparatus, the procedure and fuel filter problem are given, injection nozzle carbon buildup and it's effects, carbon buildup in the intake port, the lubricating oil analysis, oil consumption and blowby, the condition of pistons, liners, rings and bearings, the turbocharger and fuel injection pump condition comprise this writing. | |
