dc.description | The authors give information concerning a new potato variety. On November 1, 1974, the epartments of Horticulture and plant Pathology of the North Dakota Agriculture Experiment Station announced the release of a new potato variety named Bison. Since 1957, Bison is the ninth potato variety released by NDSU. Ofthe NDSU vafrieties, Norchip ranks fifth. Norgold Russet, sixth and Norland seventh in total U.S. Potato Certified Seed Production. | |
