The article presents those factors and stressors which shape North Dakota adolescents’ career choices. The family unit was a primary influencer. The article references a questionnaire that was given to teens to ascertain their choices. Results indicated differences in responses in urban and rural adolescents. Higher education, parents and economic factors influenced teens’ career choices.
