dc.descriptionThe article informs the reader that many compounds tested to treat worms in livestock are chance discoveries and how most are forgotten over time. Piperazine compounds were among the more recent to be rediscovered and placed in widespread usage. Their application does much to increase the income of livestock raisers by the production of healthier animals. It may be placed in livestock drinking water as a preventative measure.
