Description
This is a discussion of wheat streak mosaic in 1988 in North Dakota which was serve that year. It was decide that winter wheat, hard red spring wheat and durum wheat were 'volunteer plants' aiding in the proliferation of the wheat curl mite and the disease. Warm, dry weather along with strong winds aided in the broadcast of these mites. Grass and corn act as reservoirs for this infection.
