Abstract
Description
The article answers what changes have occurred since 1960 through 1968 in size and composition of North Dakota’s population numbers. The total population of North Dakota remained very stable from one decennial census to
another since 1920. Estimates from various state and federal sources provided some clues regarding what was happening. The total number of inhabitants, changes in employment, births and deaths, morality rates, reasons for declining birth rates, fertility rates, net out migration, change in rural-urban composition, a summary along wit possible implications are presented.
