The typology for this thesis investigation is a culinary education center for young people. The facility will be nearly 90,000 square feet. The Theoretical Premise/Unifying Idea guiding the thesis is “a youth oriented culinary education center can contribute to improving the health of future generations by empowering youth before they become trapped in the cycle of “fast” and processed foods that has been branded into them by today’s society”. The Justification for the investigation is the growing trend of consuming fast and processed foods that has led to a plethora of health related issues.
