The rapidity and extent of this spread in 1949 was apparently due to the dominance of the two-brooded strain and the prevailing southerly winds of the past season which aided the moths in their dispersal. A field survey collecting specimens to determine parasitism of this pest was discussed.North Dakota State UniversityEuropean Corn Borer Occurrence in North DakotaArticle
