Farmers in the study reported price received as the most important consideration in selecting the elevator at which to sell their grain. Other factors were fast, efficient grain handling service and availability of timely, accurate market information. Time of sale, sales to local elevators, hauling grain, the amount of farm storage, grain inspections and grading, type and accessibility, farm expansion plans, membership in marketing associations were discussed.North Dakota State UniversityMarketingGrain cropsFarm managementA Study of Farmer Grain Marketing PracticesArticle
