NDSU Libraries Resources and Services during COVID-19 Interruptions

During the interruptions to regular campus operations due to the COVID-19 response, NDSU Libraries continue to provide services to our students, faculty, and staff. Many of the Libraries’ services and resources are available online, virtually, and by appointment; further details are listed below.

The Libraries are shared spaces, therefore face coverings are required when visiting NDSU Libraries locations. Further information is available on the NDSU Face Covering Guidelines page.

  • Friday: 7:30am-5:00pm

BORROW AND REQUEST MATERIALS

Students, faculty, and staff can borrow and request materials from the NDSU Libraries through our pickup service and through Interlibrary Loan (ILL)

Physical items requested from the NDSU Libraries collection can be retrieved by Libraries staff members and picked up during open hours. Visit our How to Request an Item page for instructions on how to request an item for pickup.

For further details on Interlibrary Loan, visit our Borrow, Renew, Request page. Please note that physical items requested through ILL may not be available and wait times for requested materials may be longer than usual.

 

RETURN MATERIALS

To return items, please use our on-campus book drops located at the Main Library, Memorial Union, and the Quentin Burdick Building or downtown book drops located at the Business Learning Center (Barry Hall), Klai Juba Wald Architectural Studies Library (Klai Hall) or Renaissance Hall. If you are unable to return materials in-person, you may return materials by USPS using this address:

If you send materials through the mail, please use sufficient packaging to reduce damage in transit. 

Graduating students are encouraged to return materials as soon as possible. If you are a graduating student and experiencing financial hardship in returning your materials, contact ndsu.library@ndsu.edu for assistance.

At the Main Library:

From anywhere you have an internet connection:
