Description: This is a discussion of of the disease Rotavirus, which is a common cause of non-bacterial diarrhea during the colder months of the year. In 1969, rotavirus was identified with neonatal diarrhea in calves. Since then, it has been found to infect a wide variety of animals, including pigs, mice, lambs, foals, rabbits, goats, deer and guinea pigs.
