Editor-in-Chief, North Dakota State University Press

A treasure on the northern plains. Diverse, engaging, challenging, unpredictable, and beautiful. North Dakota State University Press is a reflection of the people it informs. Pure gift!”—Pastor Matt Valan

Celebrating seventy years of contributing to the literary arts and the humanities, North Dakota State University Press is proud to show off samples of our publications, our authors, our publishers, and our Certificate in Publishing students. From our simple beginnings in 1950, we have provided decades of commitment to regional life and to the land-grant mission, bringing the public-at-large and scholarship together.

The semester-long exhibit showcases our Contemporary Voices of Indigenous Peoples series (including the stunning Jingle Dress on loan from author Denise Lajimodiere), a brief history of the press and our Certificate in Publishing, and recent publications of poetry, memoir, and history. The exhibit will be on view at the Main Library through Spring Semester 2020.

As part of our 70th anniversary, we’ll celebrate with a variety of events in conjunction with this exhibit. Stay updated at ndsupress.org and our NDSU Press Facebook page.
