Abstract
The Fargo Fortniqhtly Club, founded in 1895, has taken part in many civic and educational affairs in the community as well as carrying out it's own study programs, usually concerning foreign nations. The many club records provide good documentation of its many and varied activities and include correspondence, meeting minutes, treasurers and historians records, constitutions and by-laws, annual program booklets, writings, publications, newspaper clippings and various subject files.

The Masonic Grand Lodge of North Dakota Photograph Collection reflects images acquired by the Grand Lodge Library over many years prior to its donation to the Institute. Thus the subjects of the images are very diverse. They have been organized into seven files based upon the subject of the images.

Local businessman who moved to western North Dakota and was interested in archaeology and early history. He is credited with the discovery of a Mandan Indian Village near Menoken, N.D. that is believed to have been visited by La Verendrye in 1738.
