Scope and Contents From the Collection: Each entry has been assigned a number with the collection arranged in numerical order. The amount of material for any one entry varies from one newspaper clipping to numerous items. Additions to the collection are ongoing. The collection is maintained in the Institute office and requests for items should be made to the Institute staff.

Scope and Contents From the Collection: The Erling N. Rolfsrud Photograph Collection consists of 221 photographic prints, which are organized into nineteen files. They were withdrawn from the Rolfsrud papers when they were being processed. These images were collected or taken by Mr. Rolfsrud in connection with his research and writing on North Dakota. Scope and Content From the Collection: The William Cordes Photograph Collection consists of fifty-six glass negatives that were taken by Mr. Cordes. For thirty of them copy prints were made by the Institute. There are forty-two 5x7 in. negatives and fourteen that are 3 ¼ x 4 ½ in. The negatives that have not been printed are either similar images to those that were printed, or those thought to be of poorer quality.
