Mary Lynn Axtman-Schmaltz created or contributed to the family histories of her maiden surname familial lines. These lines include surnames of Axtman, Bohl, Buchler/Bickler, Rieter, Heilmann, and Senger just to name a few. Along with her maiden surname she did extensive research into her husband’s surname of Schmaltz. The concentration of Mary Lynn’s collection of research spans from 1995- 2005, but is contains items and information from 1925-2012.

Letter describes her travel by railroad through Minnesota to Fargo, description of Fargo and events there, and people and activities back in Indiana. Last page of letter apparently missing. Also includes copy of envelope.
