The purpose of the league, organized in 1951 at Fargo, N.D. is to promote political responsibility through informed and active participation of citizens in government. The Village of North Fargo, North Dakota Board of Trustees Minutes consist of one book of minutes, 1922-1924. The Village of North Fargo was incorporated in 1913. Annexation by the City of Fargo in 1922 led to lawsuits that eventually went to the N.D. Supreme Court in 1925.
