Scope and Contents This collection of images was assembled by Dr. Ronald Olin of Fargo, N.D. from a variety of sources. The images in this collection delve into a number of aspects dealing with death, and are not just postmortem images of individuals. Although the images have no geographic limitations, the majority of the items are likely from, or related to the Upper Midwest due to the residence of the collector. Scope and Contents The Edith Fowler Slocum Photograph Collection consists of images from the time period of 1880 to about 1915. Many of the images are portraits of Edith from a child to an adult. Scope and Contents The Erling N. Rolfsrud Photograph Collection consists of 221 photographic prints, which are organized into nineteen files. They were withdrawn from the Rolfsrud papers when they were being processed. These images were collected or taken by Mr. Rolfsrud in connection with his research and writing on North Dakota. Abstract The Frank L. Anders Photograph Collection is the amalgamation of two separate donations by his children. The first donation in 1966 was part of an extensive manuscript collection that was processed as Mss 1417. These images generally document Anders' involvement with the building of the North Dakota capitol in the 1930s. The later images were donated by his daughter in 1996 and are primarily related to Camp Grafton, home of the North Dakota National Guard.
