From the Item: Typed manuscript (96 leaves) written by Margaret Aandahl Moran regarding her childhood years on the family farm near Litchville, N.D. up to the time her father was elected governor of North Dakota and the family moved to Bismarck, N.D. Organized into 20 chapters; among chapter titles are "Thistle houses", "Our house", "Pray for rain", "The Chicken project", "Saturday night in town", "Threshing town", "Svea", "Christmas", "Crocus hunting", and "And then there was light". There are also photocopies of several newspaper articles regarding Mrs. Moran and her obituary.
