The United Commercial Travelers. Fargo Council #65 Photograph Collection has been broken down into two folders. The first folder, Group Portraits are mostly professional studio photographs showing various members, some likely of leadership councils.
The second folder entitled Activities and Events, holds snapshots from two separate events. The first set shows an award ceremony, with one person identified as Paul Lanier. They appear to be taken in the 1940s, perhaps at their meeting place in the Sons of Norway Lodge. Two more photos show the Patrol of Fargo Council in uniform at the North Dakota State Fair in Fargo, likely taken in the 1920s.
One panoramic photo was separated and placed in Institute for Regional Studies Oversize Photo collection under Oversize 5.21. The photo shows the North Dakota State Fair grandstand in Fargo, with group members in the stand. It has a caption stating, “U.C.T. Convention at the Races & Airship Flights, Fargo, N.D. 6-9-1911.
